Parkodoro · effective

Parkodoro collects no data. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and uses no third-party services. It doesn’t connect to the internet at all: the app doesn’t have permission to use the network.

Your timers and log

Your timers and the time logged against them are stored in one file, data.json, in the app’s own folder on your Mac. A second file, state.json, records which timer is running, so that your own scripts can read it. Neither file is synced or sent anywhere. Deleting the app’s folder, ~/Library/Containers/com.keymasterr.parkodoro, deletes them.

Settings

Your settings, such as shortcuts, icons, sounds and the email address for CSV export, are stored on your Mac only. The email address is used only to fill in the CSV files you export yourself.

Exports

The app writes a CSV file or copies text to the clipboard only when you ask it to. What happens to that file or text afterwards is up to you.

Notifications

Notifications are off by default. If you turn them on, they are scheduled on your Mac by macOS and contain only the timer’s state, such as “Break time”.

Children

Parkodoro collects no information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
